About Your Trainer

As a Personal Trainer, I know how to encourage and support clients of all levels reach their personal best in health and fitness.  Most commonly referred to as a personable and engaging individual, I’ve focused on making all clients feel comfortable in the gym.

By experience, I understand the challenges of ultimate physical conditioning and nutrition.  A lifetime of involvement in competitive sports fueled my enthusiasm for quality personal training that improves over-all health and fitness.

My interest in the Personal Fitness field led me to the International Fitness Professionals Association to become a certified personal trainer.  I quickly realized that the exercise techniques used in most health clubs did not fit my belief of how training should be performed.  Too much chatting and rest breaks never made me rapidly shed fat, get stronger or become quicker, so why would it work for my clients.    Since 2004 I’ve educated myself in several different styles of fitness.  From that experience I’ve developed a program that uses strength training with bits of yoga, aerobics, pilates and trigger point release therapy that simply delivers results. 

As I began to play golf I realized that most golfer’s are missing the essential components of fitness.  I attended the Titleist Performance Institute and became a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI).  This in-depth knowledge has improved my golf swing and with the continuing education from TPI it will allow me to work with golfer for many years to come.
